At least twice a year, I get to hear the sound of sandhill cranes migrating and it is always thrilling. They pass right over our house and their cureling call seems to echo across Sherwood Park. Their calls direct my eye to them and I find them high in the sky, great numbers of them, whirling, twirling and dancing.
