“Wow! Look at the light”.
Seeing the light is my call to adventure. It’s the trigger that sets me out along the many paths of my artistic journey. Some days, the call only takes me as far as stepping outside and down to the shoreline. Others days though I journey. French Beach, west of Sooke, is a favourite destination, especially at low tide when the tidal shelf is exposed. One morning, Debra and I had just pulled into the parking lot at the east end of the beach and there was the light, streaming down through the mist. Fabulous! A radiant array of beautiful light, shining down with a silent message... “look, here’s something special.”
I've learned that if I look for the light, it will show me the way.
